Thousands have joined Reserve to beat hyperinflation. Many more thousands have been waiting on the waitlist.

And now, in March, anyone in Venezuela will be able to access the Reserve app.

We’ve seen those in the community surrounding Reserve deal with a lot in the time we’ve spent getting to know you. We’ve read a lot of words of frustration and even sometimes despair in dealing with hyperinflation, but everyone has been resilient and persevered. There are a lot of soon-to-be Rangers out there.

Our connection to the community has been a powerful motivator, focusing us on one goal: building the capacity to support thousands more people.

We did it. We’re ready!

For months, we’ve been preparing — developing new logistical and technological systems, and recently hiring 25 new human support staff — and we have a plan:

During the first two weeks of March, we will give access to everyone who’s currently on the waitlist. We’ll do this progressively, on a daily basis.

On March 15th, we’ll turn off the waitlist entirely for two weeks, and give direct access to the app for anyone in our countries of service (Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, and Panama), until the beginning of April.

In April, we’ll be rolling out a new access system for the application, based on invites. This will allow us to grow in a controlled way — sometimes quickly, and other times slowly, if needed. Users will be given invites at a rate we can control, so if capacity allows for fast growth we can issue more invites, and if growth starts going too fast, we can reduce the number of daily invites for a while.

Of course, we want to serve everyone who wants to use Reserve as fast as possible, but we also don’t want our transaction speeds or customer support to degrade. So, we‘ll grow our user base just as fast as we can grow our infrastructure!

Our mission is to eradicate hyperinflation entirely and, to be frank, we are still a long way off. We have lots to improve and a long way to go, but we’re proud to be where we are.
